The Lord's my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? My strength in ev'ry situation; He'll always hear. Tho' foes may rise to trouble me, And war and pestilence I see, Full confident I'll always be; They can't come near.

O, Lord, one thing would I desire, To dwell with Thee; And sing in that great heav'nly choir, Thy beauty see. Then shall my head be lifted up, Sweet joy shall overflow my cup, And at Thy table I will sup Eternally.
