I long to be like You, my precious Lord, so pure and free from sin. I struggle often wrestle lone with sins that are unknown to men. I want to feel Your love, Lord, to feel that You care; To know that I'm forgiv'n; Come fill my heart with joy, remove my guilt, and cleanse my heart from sin.

I do not want the guilt, I must feel free of guilt from all my past. I know You say it's true, I can be free and sleep will come at last. So when I pillow my head, and I close my eyes as I lay down to sleep, I know I'm safe with You, the guilt's removed and all is well at last.
